ASI began as a subsidiary of
vonSchoeler, McBride and Associates a provider of
administrative services to qualified retirement plans.
Drawing on over 60
years of combined experience in providing record keeping,
actuarial and administrative services to retirement plans, ASI
was created to provide administrative services to banks,
associations and businesses requiring similar services for
tasks unrelated to retirement plans.
In 1991, having reached critical mass, ASI was spun off
into a separate corporation. Since that time, ASI has
gained a reputation as a leader in
preneed record keeping for the deathcare industry and other
taxable trusts.
With the advent of electronic filing for IRS Form 1041
and the stated goal of IRS to promote electronic filing
of business tax forms, ASI developed electronic filing
software for IRS Form 1041 and became an IRS approved
ERO (Electronic Return Originator) in 1992.
